The philosophy
for the Eon Design Store was to create a space that
inspires innovation and where NZ designers can sell
their creations. It is owned by a young female designer
Angela Roper and has a superb range of home-wares,
furniture, ceramics, clothing etc. They send gorgeous
unique NZ designs all over the world. It is one
of the shops we sometimes incorporate into our Exclusive
Tours. |

which offers you an authentic cultural performance

Spellbound
Glowworm and Cave tours are, in our opinion, the
very best available in Waitomo. This is a great
tour for those that are not so adventurous, as there
is no abseiling etc. You get to go into two caves,
they only take a maximum of 12 people and you get
to spend ages in the caves. They are a great eco
tour operator, and the owner set up all the original
companies in Waitomo- so is very experienced. Fantastic! |

The Pink and
White Terraces recreated in Taupo. An amazing example
of a shared vision between privately owned Contact
Energy and the local Maori- to redevelop the original
Wairakei Terraces and geysers that were lost with
the development of the Wairakei Geothermal Power
Station in the 1950's. |
